From diverse, sea kissed vineyards of Lisboa to London’s finest tables, over the last 9 months we embarked on a journey to transform Lisboa wines from hidden gem to the ‘must-have’ pour in the UK. Using a mix of PR, experiential, press and trade events and trips… the list goes on!

Lisboa’s wines were the industry’s best-kept secret – but secrets are meant to be shared.

We set out to turn whispers into roars and place Wines of Lisboa firmly in the spotlight – where it belongs.

This wasn’t just about marketing wine – it was about storytelling, experiencing, and creating moments that would get Wines of Lisbon talked about and leave a lasting impression – like a fine vintage.

Immersive experiences and show-stopping events turned heads, filled glasses and most importantly – got them talked about.

A snapshot tour of the programme:

Films: Lights, Camera, Lisboa: Three short films starring wine virtuoso Libby Brodie capturing the soul and heritage of the Lisboa Wine region. The Travel & Wine series took Libby on an introductory tour of the region. As well as appearing on socials/ YouTube, they were amplified through luxury wine boxes landing in the hands of the industry’s most discerning voices – a carefully curated selection of influencers, bloggers and journalists watching the films while tasting wines and food from the region really brought the stories & wines from Lisboa to life.

A Secret Sand Story – An Immersive Event: We know what a huge part the Atlantic Ocean plays in making the wines of Lisboa unique so we needed to tell that story in a way that would capture hearts & minds! Guests (press and influencers) were transported to the Atlantic shores of Dorset where Lisboa had been artistically recreated in our visual experience hosted by Libby Brodie. Our Lisboa takeover became Instagram gold, combining epic sand artistry, personalised Lisboa blankets and a magical creative installation space that transported our guests on a truly immersive level.

The Great Lisboa Road Trip:: We handpicked VIP press and key trade guests for an explorative journey through Lisboa’s undiscovered wine regions. Exclusive tastings, secret cellars, and stories, of course shared over intimate dinners with exceptional wines, food and of course the unfaltering Lisboan charm and hospitality.

Lisboeta, The one where Lisboa Met the UK Trade: Immersive Trade Tasting and Press Dinner: We Media partnered with The Drinks Business for this full restaurant immersive takeover of where else? Lisboeta, the London restaurant that specialises in cuisine from Lisbon under Well known chef, Nuno Mendes. Nearly 70 decision-making trade passed through the doors to meet producers and taste wines and delicacies from Nuno’s menu. A full Masterclass hosted by Patrick Schmitt MW was a huge hit. The evening saw 20 press sit down to a wine maker supper with gorgeous food and more incredible wines.

Now, here’s to 2025 – Saúde!

“From the stunning vineyards to the exquisite tastings. Your attention to detail and hospitality made the trip exceptional.”

Behind the scenes, our press office is Lisboa’s biggest cheerleader, with relationships with over 200 journalists who can’t wait to spill the story. We’re keeping the momentum flowing with seasonal surprises that land Lisboa in the headlines again and again.

Lisboa wines aren’t just on the map – they’re drawing new maps of their own.

And the results? Well they keep on flowing…
