When one of Britain’s most iconic shopping and leisure destinations wanted to get the word out about their new environmental, social and governance (ESG) programme, they came to us to help launch it.

Manchester’s Trafford Centre may be best known as a retail & leisure destination for world-renowned shopping, dining and experiences, but it also delivers a programme packed full of smart initiatives and green thinking – something worth shouting about.

Manchester’s Trafford Centre may be best known as a retail & leisure destination for world-renowned shopping, dining and experiences, but it also delivers a programme packed full of smart initiatives and green thinking – something worth shouting about.

Our job was to make sure people really understood Trafford Centre’s positive contribution to their community and the ways it’s working to minimise environmental impact.

Working closely with asset managers, fund managers and centre team, we made sure we understood every angle of the new programme.

Then, we turned it into ‘For Our Future’ – a communications platform for Trafford Centre’s sustainability and social impact programme, which we backed with a range of assets to help share the centre’s progress with all the relevant audiences.

And now, we are excited to unveil the culmination of months of hard work which included:

  • A dedicated website
  • A bright and concise animated video
  • A suite of on-site reactive assets, designed for impact even in a busy shopping centre
  • ESG policy development
  • ESG brand guidelines, for a distinct identityy
  • A consumer-friendly roadmap
  • A social media campaign
  • A B2B PR coverage that explained the big picture
  • Internal comms and tenant engagement
