Spring coming into bloom takes us back to a gorgeous event we hosted last year, a PR event for Costières de Nîmes and Luberon. Set in one of Londons most instgrammable cafes – Saint Aymes, with a dress code of pink (of course). On Bastille Day, the South of France was brought to central London for one night only.

The rosé rage shows no signs of slowing down, we’re being almost steered into believing that a pale Provencal rosé is the only thing that will cut-it on our picnic rugs during the summer months. We wanted to bring together a group of journalists, influencers and bloggers to challenge that notion.

Guest speaker, Sophia from Skin and Pulp, spoke about the region of France that the wines come from and how others from Provence differ. Exploring grape varieties and how cooler coastal winds affect the wine, meant the event was not only hugely enjoyable but we also learnt a thing or two.

It is no secret that the Southern Rhône Valley is home to fabulous wines, it’s also a fabulous place to visit with ancient ruins and pristine vineyards and a thriving food & wine scene. But on this glorious evening in London it was the rosés we were most interested in, visiting two key appellations – Costières de Nîmes and Luberon.

The evening sun shone and the fresh, pink canapés added to the evening’s feminine charm – perfectly matched to the many rosé wines we were fortunate enough discover!
