PR & Comms Junior Account Executive / Account Executive

Location: Mix of remote working and office-based 1-2 days a week (post-lockdown) in Marlow, Buckinghamshire

Due to new client wins and internal promotions, BWP is seeking a Junior Account Executive or Account Executive (dependent on experience) to join our dedicated PR & Comms department. You will be a pivotal part of the team working together to deliver effective PR and communication strategies that drive brand awareness for our varied client roster.

In this entry-level position, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of client accounts, assist in the delivery of PR, influencer and social campaigns and participate in the creation of PR proposals for new and existing clients. You’ll be required to monitor and analyse campaign activity, reporting on results against KPIs, industry-relevant trends and competitor activity to ensure our work delivers the intended impact. You’ll work closely with the internal marketing and creative teams to ensure the smooth running and effective delivery of our corporate PR and social media.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with a proactive approach, ensuring that all account admin is well-planned, delivered on time and to a high standard. You will have excellent communication skills and be confident liaising with media, clients and suppliers. Previous experience of working in PR, either agency or in-house, paid or unpaid, is preferred but not essential; we’re as interested in your potential as we are your experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administration of client accounts and department, including financial admin (full training provided)
  • Media & influencer liaison
  • Delivery of client campaigns 
  • Support the Account Management team 
  • Creation of content and press materials including copywriting
  • PR event support
  • Social Media content plans and delivery

 

Key Requirements:

  • Highly organised self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent copywriting and organisational skills
  • First rate communication skills with a confident telephone manner
  • An ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Knowledge of the UK media, Influencer and social media landscape
  • Work experience in a PR agency environment, paid or unpaid is desirable
  • A genuine and demonstrable interest in all areas of PR and communications
  • Awareness of the latest trends across media and digital platforms
  • Extremely literate PC skills
