Director of New Business and Marketing

Salary: £70k plus commission with O.T.E in the region of £100k

We’ve got ambitious growth plans in our 3-year plan. Could you be the person to help us achieve them?

Working closely with our CEO, Board of Directors, and Senior Management Team, we’re looking for a Director of New Business and Marketing who will love and treat our agency as if it’s their own. Someone to be accountable for:

  • Delivering the agency’s strategy for new business.
  • Achieving new business targets. You are fully responsible for delivering this target. Yes, you’ll have people helping you to achieve it, but you’ll be the one accountable to the board for results. It’s up to you to make sure we are generating the desired levels of quality leads and that we have the best processes, procedures, and personnel in place to convert them.
  • Owning the BWP brand. Ensuring we are positioning ourselves correctly and have the reputation and recognition within the industry to attract our ideal clients and talent.

Of course, we’re not going to trust our brand with just anyone.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • The proven ability to meet, or exceed, new business targets over a prolonged period
  • A track record in both new business and marketing or brand ownership
  • Extensive, practical knowledge of B2B sales and new business development in a creative agency environment.
  • Working knowledge of what an Integrated Marketing agency does, the services they sell and the results they can achieve… and the ability to sell this in a sales meeting.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing B2B sales and marketing campaigns that attract prospects and convert them into clients
  • The ability to manage and mentor a pitch team, ensuring that they deliver pitches and presentations that convert qualified leads into clients

In addition, we're looking for someone who:

  • has a clean UK driving license and is willing and able to attend sales meetings and networking events across the UK and beyond
  • can be office-based in Marlow a minimum of three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
