Summer in the City
As you might have heard (not that we’ve been shouting about it or anything), BWP were recently appointed as the lead Marketing Agency for Trafford Centre. The third largest shopping centre in the UK, FYI. 😉
And in true BWP fashion, we threw ourselves into the deep end…
Just a few short months after BWP being appointed, we launched the very first Summer Social at The Trafford Centre. The execution (even if I do say so myself) was nothing short of extraordinary, the production was outstanding, the logistics required to get everything to come together was nothing short of mind-boggling. But together, the Summer Social was launched, in what I would say must be a world record for the quickest turn around of an event, and wow – what an event it has been.
We built up anticipation, excitement, and intrigue with dazzling creative that we pushed out across radio, Spotify, OOH, social, digital, mobile… quite honestly the lot. But enough about that… More about the event itself.
The event spans across 2 of the carparks at the Trafford Centre, outside the Great Hall. There is a plethora of activities, from makeup pop-ups (Fenty beauty made an appearance) through to Boujee bars, log flumes, mouth watering food trucks even Selfridges opened their very own pop-up ‘Summer on wheels’ just this week. There is quite literally something there for everyone. So there is no real surprise that due to popular demand, the Summer Social has been extended for another 3 weeks till the end of September.
The team (both onsite and offsite) have worked tirelessly to get the event live, and what a team we are. If we can achieve this within the first few months… what on earth will do next?
